No problem when my swap starts I will take alot of pics for you.The parts I know are needed include /timing belt/plugs/engine mounts if shot/oil/wiring/filter .Then you need to route your coolant lines towards the front and you need to cut a hole in the firewall for the distributor. After that you need to make your exhaust manifold fit the 20v since the outer studs are not in the same place.

it doesn't sound like you've researched this swap very thoroughly.. i'd suggest you read up a lot more before you go doing anything... this isn't lego..

start at club4ag, in the reference section there shoudl be an article about this swap.. that'll get you up to speed on exactly what needs to be done

check the tech section of club4AG and see what kinda problems people run into. finding the motor shouldn't be hard. it's finding the harness and ECU that's usually the problem.

Complete engine usualy cost 900-1200$ for the silvertops , the blacktops are much less imported and cost around 1600-2300$ complete all depends where and what condition they are in.

ok... go on club4ag and do a search on the forum... have u seen 1 person compliment or praise the 20v after the swap? most posts u see are complaints about the headaches of getting the motor in or that it wasn't what it was "cut out to be"...

20v is nice.. but for all the trouble and $$ u could build a GOOD 16v... also there's a larger aftermarket for the 16V rather than the 20V...

20v is overrated... IMHO

I used to be a 20v backer like you... until i started looking around for 1...

buying an engine isn't hard... it's putting it in and making it talk to the rest of the car... I wouldn't consider this swap a newbie swap... it's alot more than a bolt in ordeal... U can never know enough about a swap until u try it yourself...

g/l though
