kind of straying off topic but u know that ur car will be dog slow with 16s or 17s right?
unless u go crazy low profile 205/40R16 or 205/35R17....
even then the rims + tires are too heavy.... i saw that in ur other thread u were complaining about ur engine's performance....well if ur all about performance i say stray away from those sizes.
stick with 14 or 15

I have 16" with 205/40/16 and I don't notice that much difference in performance other than handling from my 185/60/14 winters..

Twin-cam 16V since you're in Ontario you'd better be coming to the meet on Saturday..

you will DEFINITELY notice a difference if you stick to lightweight rims, provided one thing: they are lightweight.

that may sound dumb, but especially here in n. america, many aftermarket rims are heavy like lead..

I have one friend who drives a civic and told me he had an easier time hauling around his 15" steel wheels w/ all season tires than his 17" alloy wheels with summer rubber.

If your "lightweight" alloy rims are heavier than your steelies, you know something's not right.

If you're really interested in performance, do some research to find wheels that are actually light. Trust me, you'll feel a difference (won't turn your car into a supra killer or anything, but the difference is very obvious - i know it was for me, going from 14x5.5 steel wheels to 15x7 lightweight wheels)

exactly. i had 205/50R15 r compounds on some heavy steelies and i immediately noticed a huge difference in acel, the way the suspension responds etc. when compared to my stock alloys.

stick 14 or 15 and get something light....if ur on a budget, a popular brand is rota...usually their 15inchers are 12lbs

Since the AE92 runs a 4x100 pattern, you can search honda boards for Civic and Integra wheels. www.clubsi.com is a good place to look.
