how fast are the 96 something rolla's

just wondering how slow the newer but not brand new models are i dont now much about the corollas but i know it was 2 generations older than the current models cause i have an auto 93 camry 4 bacnger and i raced one of those corollas and i fully dusted him it was ridiculos, how slow are the slowest models of those? cause my car is slow 17.1 best et.. and he called me out so i raced on the freeway i got to about 95 before i let off and he was 5-6 car lengths behind i could hear his car wide open too... i dunno jus curious

any North American Corolla stock is SLOW.....if you're asking for 1/4 miles times I saw one run 18.1

Well the 93-97 Corollas had two engines the 1.6 4afe and the 1.8 7afe. The 5-speed with the 1.8 would probably do mid-high 17s down to the 3-speed auto 1.6 which is probably in the high 18s
the auto 1.8 and 5-speed a.6 would be in between there.

98-01s run low to mid 17s- auto and low to mid 16s 5-speed

The new 03+ Rollas are closer to low 16s with a few claimed very high 15s

Probably you raced a 93-97Corolla with a 1.8 and a three-speed auto.

That 17.1 is a good time for your car BTW

5spd stick 4A-FE - approx 17.4 with breathers.
3spd auto 4A-FE - approx 14.2 with turbo
5spd stick 4A-GZE - aprrox 14.8 with breathers.

heh yeah i didnt ever think that i could get it that low(but still too slow) with bolt ons this damn car is slow... 17.1....so sad 18.2 stock..
