rust proofing

for all u hardcore freaks who rust proof ur car yearly...where do u go and which place is good?

i -think- it was jover or mac that was telling me that krown rust control kicks ass. actually now that i think about it, i think it was mac...anyhow...he said the rust proofing has stopped the rust dead in it's tracks: it no longer spread.

anyone have personal experience with different rust proofing companies and agents? i know that there are two types: oil spray and wax. what's the diff b/w the two?
o.O

look into one of those electronic rust proofing doohickies

instead of taking an electron from the metal, it takes it from the battery,

yeah after getting undercoated don't park in your driveway, it'll drip for a while, that's the point of it, it works its way into every cravasse

i have no clue where you can get the electronic stuff done but its out there, they just basically pass a current through the car

^but how good is that black stuff?

i guess oil spray is the one where they drill holes in ur car and spray it all over the place....inside all panels and everywhere. i'll do that....and i take it the black stuff is undercoating?
i'll do that undercoating then

Krown Rust control is good if they do the job right. Stay and keep an eye on things if they are buisy or they might do your car half assed. I know this because I used to work there. So this is how it was or at least at my shop.

i think was is better cause it doesnt leave marks when it leaks. At least if i refer to the section about rustproofing in my book, that and cost are the main 2 differences
