it looks to be in VERY good cond... esp for an ae86... check for rust in the rear quarter panels

also, make SURE you really have no problem buying an SR5.... the few extra here and there is really worth the hassle of swapping parts and locating what you want/need if you try to do an sr5->gts conversion..... even on my ae92 i'm paying for it now.... and it requires a lot more on an ae86

well for mod it just gonna be simple, maybe change the engine to a 4age, spinter tail lights, maybe rear drum conversion that it nothing big keeping it simple. as for rust there wasn't any under the car either she had it rust proof every year. floor, rear panels all mint. on saturday i will inspect it alot better with some friends and on wednesday it goes for gouvenment inspection! so we wait and see.

it's a 4a-c, sohc carbed motor with a weaker 4a bottom end

the rearend is also smaller, and no sr5's had lsd's

Nice SR5! It looks great! I just got my AE86 back on the road today but how long it will stay there... Not because I'm expecting it to break down but for how long I can make insurance payments before what remains in my account is gone. Looks like I'll have to start looking for a weekend job in barrie.

well the car when for it's inspection. it has a few problems with it. the cover seal, tranny, and diff seals are leaking, some rust on teh shocks tower and a little on the rear panels. teh timming belt need changing and the oil and water pump, the shocks, tires and the carb in adjusting and teh windsheld need changing! still trying to deal with the guy to see if he will fix it for that price or lower the price. in the car we found the orginal owner manuel with all teh dates she when to take the car to the dealer for checkups. if i do get it i will be the third owner. teh second lady with in 97 for a oil change at 147956km so it did about 50000km in 6 years! so now i'm deciding what to do if to get it or not. i like teh sr5 i'll just be a wannabe GTS guy just liek my last car. as for teh rear window shade i'm not feeling it yet. maybe if it was red what do u guys thing also well it look good with the trd rear wing. so may ideas i'll keep u guys posted. lataah oh and it's auto which is ok i have a plan for than tranny and an engine i wanna change it to if i do decide to get it.
