i don't know why people do this, sure black primer looks all tough and aggressive, but its purpose is a bonding agent for the paint, its not paint itself.

primer has no UV protection like proper paint does, and overtime stains will appear. (If thats the look you're going for though, then go right ahead..)

I think a lot of times, people mistake Flat Black piant for primer. Like PT said, primer is a base, not intended for finished use. The flat black look is common, go with that.

primer is porous, and will not protect your body from water and moisture......It will absorb the water and once again allow your car to rust........That's why you see so many cars that have that work in progress primer look with rust spots on them......I say don't waste your time and do it all at once......otherwise you'll have to do double the work......
just my 2 cents....

before u start ripping apart a perfectly fine functioning car...

know what ur getting yourself into... drive the car for now... u'll get used to it... and u'll have more time to think about what u want...

don't start modifying your car before u know what u want to do to it... (driving it is the only real way to know what YOU want)

plus... u'll appreciate the diff more

leave it and do it right one time

if you primer the whole car now you're still gonna have to strip that down again and reprimer the car when you go to paint it
