it will depend on whether you have your G2 or not.. if you don't have a G2, don't even bother trying.. insurance companies won't even talk to you if you have a G1 and you're trying to get insurance under your own name. You would probably be better off as a second driver and keeping the car under your parents name.. otherwise you're looking at a few thousand $$$$.

5th driver on 3 of my cars and only have liability on all 3 yet i still pay 90 a month on top of 150 for the other 4 drivers

haha thats rip-off.I called my insurance company like last year or the year before so i was like 19-20 back then, and it would have cost me 1600 a year cad $ for a 1989 TURBO SUPRA and im a guy, get a new insurance company

last year I was quoted $2,700 a year for full coverage. I have to wait for my new rate to be proccessed with my bare minimum insurance.

I'm 22 with G2 license. No tickets.
