From what I am reading, there is no way to "reset" the airbag. If you want to see if the warning light is just a glitch then disconnect the battery for 2 minutes and reconnect it.

My book says how to disable and enable the airbag, but not reset it...

can you tell me on how to enable and disable the airbag? maybe if i disable it than enable it, it'll act as a reset.

btw, the airbag light flashes on and off, w/ like a 1 second interval on and off. somtimes it goes away. does that sound like an airbag glitch? or does the manual say someting more speicific like "AIRBAG WILL EXPLOAD AFTER 10,000 BLINKS"?

thankx

It doesn't say anything about the idiot light, but if it did I would bet it would say take it to the dealer.

I'm sorry I left my book at home today and I am out of town untill the weekend but as far as I remember it is a yellow plug/wire harness thing under the steering wheel. I think the 94 will have a panel and the 98 should just be under there somewhere.

The thing is, if it has driver and passanger side airbags you would half to do both I'd think. On a 98 you have to remove the glove box to get to the yellow airbag plug for the passenger's side and I think the 94 is just under the dash on that side.

So for both of them just unplug it and wait a wehile then plug it back in.

Hope this helps.
I'll check the book this weekend and see if there is anything I missed.

Chris
