Last weekend I bottemed out my GT-S and it seems I wrecked something in the exhaust.

I blame my grandmother for this one. I was going to reverse out of her drive way but she was very insistant that I pull into her garage and turn around. Unfortunatly there was a dip between the garage and the driveway. I guess they didn't know this because they usually park their Jeep Grand Charoke in the garage.

Any way a friend of mine said it was a flexpipe on the inside of my pipe some where. Is this correct?

Most of the time that car runs fine with a little bit of extra noise but some times it seems like airflow is blocked causing a lack of power in late rpm in 3rd and early rpm in 4th.

I know I'm going to have to have this fixed but should I have to get this fixed before I get the car emission tested? I guess so. They probably won't test with the extra noise.

the flexpipe is the piece that connects between the header and the exhaust itself...... it looks like a woven metal piece... hence "flex".... you can't miss it

yeah they wont test if they hear any exhaust leak.

you probably cracked the pipes somewhere.. get it fixed before the whole pipe cracks through.

Hmmm... the ratteling seems to have gone away on it's own... I hate how much it rains here in Barrie I never get a chance to jack up the car and take a look. Oh well guess I'll have it looked at on monday when I go get the test booked.
