a 4agze swap w/auto tranny ???????

Hey,

I am planning a 4agze swap into my ae101 ( 97 Corolla SD ) I don't really want to go through the changing the tranny and stuff so I have decided to go thru the swap with the auto tranny. Is it worth it and what types of power can I get with the stock internals on teh engine and with the super charger in it whats the most power I can get with it without blowing it up.

How much will it cost including labour for :

a. 4agze with auto tranny
b. 4agze with manual tranny

and where can I find these engines with everythign I need to do a complete swap. Aswell how much hp can i get out of the SC and stock internals.

^^^From what I've heard around the water cooler there are a few shops in the Toronto area that sell Japanese engines and do swaps. Do a search in the Corolla forum for "engine swaps" or something along those lines.

Also just to give you a rough idea, this place in the US has engines and trannys and ECUs and the like: http://www.toysport.com/

They have this listed:
4AGZE LATE FORGED TURBO PISTON 8.3:1 $ 2,500.00

Under "catalogs" you can browse their stuff.

Here's some from the "JDM Conversions" section:
