get cheap tyres for the back for now.
learn how to counter-steer and feel how the back end feels when it steps out
when you get comfortable with it.. and learn how to break it free
go with grippers all around

the thing is with grippers, you need more speed to break them out, and it'll make it alot harder to learn with.

wouldn't an lsd make it a lot harder to learn how to break the rear end tho?
or are you talking about getting the lsd after skid control?

The LSD will make life easier.

The LSD will distribute the power to both wheels equally and help you drift.

With the Open Diff, one wheel will spin and you'll be doing a fish tail instead. Harder to predict.

i heard learning how to drift with an lsd is harder because it actually creates more understeer or the car. Once you've grasped the concept and are comfortable with getting the car to break loose, i heard the lsd makes drifting WAY easier...but only after you've learned to create understeer
