tranny dip stick fill hole..???

i own a 89 4age ae92 gts and im wondering were to fill my tanny fluid cause i just replaced the front boots.... i cant find it lol

Are you asking where the dipstick is, or if one uses the dipstick hole to fill? I can't tell you where it's located, but I can verify that this is where you fill auto trannys.

GTS, therefore its a 5spd. There is no dipstick, basically you have two plugs on your tranny, one is to drain (its the big one that needs a 1/4 ratchet to open) and the other is located about 4 inches above it and thats the fill hole. You know when the tranny is full when fluid starts dribbling out. Good luck.

As far as the AE92 and AE86 go. Celicas were available with auto or manual.

Deep is correct its a 24mm bolt, first drain the bottom one, than fill from the top one....there only two huge 24mm bolt on the tranny, so its easy to figure out which is which, water flow downwards

you hafto take off the plastic dirt gaurd off to get access to it, so try not to snap those ruusty bolts.
