Newbie Corolla owner...

...just purchased an '04 LE, 5 speed manual, w/ cruise control. Usage will be mainly highway, longish commute, almost no dirt roads. Two questions right off the bat:

What kind of gas mileage should I anticipate, at 70-75 mph?

What should my oil change interval be? (Taking advantage of the dealer's $9.95 offer, presuming a decent quality oil and filter.)

Thanks in advance for replies, I am very excited about this car!

welcome to TN man

my parents own 03 corolla, CE, Auto.
im not too sure about the milage, but for oil change, youshould always use OEM (toyota) filters Filters better thanany other brand out there. what you can ask is for 03 Rav4 filters (they fit) cuz they use longer filter than the one for 1ZZFE. also if you're gonna do your own oil change, its 3.9 Litre of oil.

well have fun with yournew rolla

Checkout www.corollacustomz.com, they're mainlyinto Newer Corollas

expect close to 40mpg and change your oil every 5000miles

it's a great engine and you'll be happy with it's efficiency

consider an intake and exhaust, it doesn't compromise emissions or economy but it gives it some needed torque and hp

yeah, but i doubt u can shift.

cuz like i know that on my sportshift, i can switch, but if i go to neutral, it turns off, so CC would probably turn off when u shift.
