AE86 MR2 and Camaro shock/struts ?

Hi guys I have heard that we can use the insert from a MR2 turbo and the shocks from a camaro ?Is this true because I could probably use some AGX units from these cars or go cheap and use Sensatracs.I rather have Tokico HTS but at 800$ its kinda expensive. Also where is the best place for getting TRD bushing sets ?I rebuilt my stock motor but was planing a 20v but who knows whats hapening with that plan.My rear end kinda hops and flops like a biznatch i want to make this car stiff ass hell any recomendations ?

some of the club4ag guys were talking about it not too long ago i think. go to the tech talk club4ag forum, and run a search for "sw20 shocks" or something like that.

yes the MR-2 turbo front shocks (SW20) work on the front of the AE86, and the Camaro IR0C-Z rears are also used for the rear........that has been confirmed.....I have spoken many times to Gabriel from "Teckno Toy Tuning" and this is what he uses when he builds his suspension packages....he says they work well on both street and track.....

Must be a stiff ass ride, a Camaro weighs about 3400lbs, the Corolla is about 2500lbs.

i've heard that certain porsche applications (i personally don't know) will work in the ae92's..... not 100% but with slight modification to the strut itself

i was told to use the Mustang instead of the Camaro ones coz they're tad shorter. go to Dori-Kaze, it's in the Reference section!
