To All Hatchback owners:

Hey guys I was wondering why all Eight-Six corolla owners have to pick a hatchback, why not a coupe? For one, Coupes are way better than hatchbacks in terms of aero dynamics, weight, and turning, but everyone still likes the hatchback? Or is it because of the anime initial d? i need an answer, i just dont understand

i think it's most likely the ID fad.

but hatches are alot more versatile then a coupe cause you can put alot of stuff in the back.. i know cause i was driving around hauling 12 rims and tires in my car at one time

and some people just prefer the look of hatch that's all. coupes are tighter cause of the rear speaker brace, and it's also lighter because it doesn't have the big rear glass that the hatch has.

if you ask me which coupe i like, i only prefer the late model coupes. look at the early model coupe taillights, they so fugly

I bought it because I believe that I'm Takumi from ID and so I'd be able to beat the Skylines and any other faster and stronger machines on the touge (only downhill of course)

Seriously...I bought the liftback because it was what one of my friends' friend was selling at that moment. To me they're both the same...if he had been selling a coupe I would have bought the coupe.

The hatch looks better and allows for more storage.

I think the coupe looks much better as a levin and liftbacks look better with the pop-ups.

Forget looks or any of that junk... its about the storage...

I packed a spare tranny a spare diff, 10 wheels mounted(smallest was 7.5J rest were 8J) ,4 tires unmounted, a tool box, a bag of extra parts, and there was still room in the car to store more.

that is the joy of a hatchback ... storage thats it.
