Looks like you have done a lot of work to it man.. good job.. I take it that the sped is read large in Kilometers and the small amber is the MPH?
The white numbers are Km/h and the orange are Mph..
How were you able to get Xenon bulbs for the headlights?
You can buy after market headlight housings. BOSCH and Eurolight sells them, they fit instead of our sealed headlight housing.
Also.. Toyota sells clear lenses for the turn signals..?
The signal lenses are from a 1992 toyota Camry, if you do want to buy them make sure you tell the person at the parts counter to order the clear ones for you cause they also come in amber for that year.
As far as Altezza taillights or any kind of aftermarket tailights, no one makes them for AE92's because they're not popular tuner cars (YET). So if you do want aftermarket lights they might come up with soemthing in the future. Otherwise what most people do is red spray the rear corners to have a uniform red colour throughout the rear.
So where did you get all of these Xenon bulbs from?
Any perfomance shop sells these Xenon or hyper white bulbs, Auto-Zone, Pep boyz or whatever else you guys have there..
I did get pulled over in Virginia for having illegal side markers two days ago, but I explained to the officer that where I come from those lights are legal so he let me off with a warning.. but he also complained about the loud muffler (it's not really that loud).
As soon as I get back from vacation I'm gonna take some pics of my car and get them up on the net.. I am putting the foglights in the bumber.. basically where yours are except in the bumper..
The foglights in my bumpers come on the car fromt the factory, but they're more like driving lights because they're not that bright, so i just put Xenon bulbs in there. Although i do get hassled for having to many lights on the front of my car.
You really like that Ractive muffler huh? Sounds good? What did it cost you? I might have to go with one of them..
You have a wide varietly of mufflers to choose from. I went with the Ractive because it's oval and it suits the rear end of my car, it sounds good and I love the way it looks. This muffler cost me $180 CA, But there are many other brand names that are quieter than the muffler I have, so if you want to stay out of trouble, try to get something that has a nice deep tone to it rather than a high pitch on high RPMs..
What about those side skirts? That molding that runs along the bottom of the doors all the way back to the tire there.. ? My '89 SR5 doesn't have that..
Those sideskirts only come on the GTS, and I was lucky enough to get them off one of the guys on this board who had an accident and wanted to part out his car before it goes to the wreckers. So I got them and installed them.
I also added something you might not have noticed.. A front lip, I had to pretty much custom make it for the car. And thanks to Ren (a fellow AE92 owner) the project was comlpeted...
