Ignition Systems
Eh.. I was wondering if they really make any difference or not.. I mean if you add a turbo or something yes.. but is the stock AE92 4AF coupe ignition good enough to keep up with my mods?
I chucked the stock carb and put on a Weber 32/36 DGEV carb
Cams are 244's for In. and Ex.
Whole new exhaust from headers (4-2-1) 2" pipe with MagnaFlow cat and SPW Bullet style muffler
Ram air intake which feeds from the front right 1/4 panel it's a TRUE ram air setup
The intake cam is set 2 teeth advanced and I have the spark timing set to full advance on the distributor
I'm starting to think that maybe a stronger ignition system and maybe some Bosch Platinum 4's or NGK Iridiums are in line for upgrading now.. plus an NGK dizzy cap and wire/plugs ?
Just wondering if it will give me anything noticeable in my acceleration times..
