I was replacing the shocks on my 1988 Corolla (AE92) and you all know you have to disconnect the brake lines to get them off.

Anyway after everything was done i proceeded to bleed the brakes. After that was done i started the engine and the brake pedal fell to the floor

I made sure that all the air was flushed out of the lines.

Could it be the master cylinder?

I thought you meant your MasterCard for a second there..

anyways.. I had my struts replaced on my 89 AE92 last year, and I never had that problem.. I paid the pros to do it.. so maybe that could be the reason.. Get it checked out, maybe you did kill the MC.

Yeah man, check your fluid levels, were you topping up as you went?

Yeah i made sure i blead them properly. I've done it before on my CRX whan i replaced the M/C and installed SS brake lines. Also on my turbo Tacoma when i had to pull off the rear axles when i installed the locker.

Just wanted to make sure it was the M/C before i go buy a new one.

has to be mc if u are getting no pedal pressure. try pumping it a few times and see if some pressure comes back....

or bleed them again!
