to let you know..... the FRONT sits a tad higher on these cars..... not the back...... i have 1.5" front and back and the back still sits just a tad lower

you can also go to sanctioned race schools and tracks.... that will help you more than anything you can do to the car right now.....

then i would suggest some different struts with the springs, possibly new strut mounts (camber plates are very nice for suspension work), a rear sway bar, a strut brace in the front, and new bushing all around (the car is getting to be 15 years old)

*nod* It appears that the back sits higher.. well with no weight over the back it does have it's tendancy to slide easier than the front.. Maybe mine sits lower in the front for some reason.. I don't know though I haven't seen my baby in a week now because of this thanksgiving trip

i say get a whole 4age with c56 tranny and do that up it'll cost less than doign up the 4af.....4age rebuild it and just stick some mild cams in there. i recall u wanted to do rally, u dont need much power for rally anyways.

redtop 4age with beathing mods and cams will probably get u around 116whp or so.... i think that's ample!

just strip the car down and get some real suspension

is the c56 the blacktop 6 speed? c52 is the ae92 gts and (though the final gear ratio is different) ae102 7a-fe tranny.....

my redtop, while using the 4a-fe ecu and wiring, made 109hp at the wheels... i was happy

The c56 is a 5speed not a 5 speed c160 is the 6speed .The c56 is a strong trans and they still use it in the Corolla 1zzfe ..

what 6spd gearbox is strong enough for a 4E-FTE (usualy they use a c52 standard), and that will fit up straight? since the c52 fits both to the 4e-fte and 4a-ge, i guess they match.
Also could you reply here:
