128hp!?! I thought that was only in Japan. I thought it only had 113hp over here. And what is wrong with a AE86? Ever hear of a engine swap, turbos or N/A tune ups? Horse power isn't everything you know. What ever happened to the enjoyment of the ride? If the car sucks so bad then why is it that the price has not depreaciated much in Japan? I will admit there are better car out now a days but you must keep in mind that every body has a different budget.
I my self want a AE86. Mind you that Dodge Razor could turn out to be a nice car when it comes out. Any way with a AE86 I can invent in and put a few toys in while if I bought a new car I would not have the money to enhance the car. And saying it is a bad choice cuz it is an old car is stupid. If some one just handed you the keys to a 60's Shelby Cobra or some muscle car from the 70's you are telling me that you would say no cuz they are old? If so you are a strange one.

you're preaching to the choir, voodoo priest

also, what's this about depreciation? that question seems to be assuming that you're looking at market values for these cars.. most of the time those kinds of guidelines don't apply..

just ask your self how much yo're willing to pay and how much it will cost to get that rust fixed..

Toucan Industries, the company who's motto is: "Look the Part".

That just about sums it up.

Hey GoodCookieDrift, considering it's the year 2002 a 1992 car is a pretty old car (10 years old is pretty old for a car).
PLus some people have appreciationfor the finer things in life, one of these things could be an old car. You never know, sometimes the car is worth more than money can buy? That doesn't necessarily mean that it's an expensive car, it could have allot of memories in it, or it might be of personal value.. So, don't be a shallow person. If you actually have a 1992 Civic, anyone could come and tell you the same about your car.. Remember what Goes around Come around..

Respect
Xenon

yeah but your toyota still is slow.

older cars are ugly. kinda like that dude from goonies. he'd be an 86...all akward and funny looking.

Hey cyril? you want to know about my civic? faster than your 86! i have a b19c...not quite a b20 but a tad more pizzaz than the b18! its like getting extra gravy on your frecnh fries. its all about akimoto and ractive. to the death....86 slow...it can't even stay straight! its always wonky and sideways when it turns...what a POS!
