slippy cluch or too fast shifts?

Recently I've been noticing that sometimes when I shift it dosen't seem to register. It will stay at 6,000 rpm after I shift. I figured out if I disengage the cluch and re-engage it it goes in to gear.

I'm thinking mabey I need a new clutch soon. Because I've been able to shift that fast fine before.

Sounds more like transmission to me.. when your clutch slips.. it does just that.. slip.. the clutch engages, but the engine keeps revving high.. even though your car moves a bit.

Nah, I don't need one. I have a spare in my garage still on the spare tranny.

i think it's your clutch gord. those guys taht did the motor swap put in a cheapo dynapack clutch in there.. those things dont' last

Ok. Well I'll leave it in for now cuz I'll probably be parking it soon. I'll change it in the spring.
