Good Source for Rebuilt 4A-FE Head?

Hi gang -

I'm a newbie with a smokin' '90 corolla sedan with the 4A-FE engine. And when I say "smokin'", I mean "smoking".

I'm jumping to the conclusion that my valve stem seals are leaking. I have 185,000 miles on the car, so that's not entirely unexpected.

Rather than go to the trouble of rebuilding the head myself, though, I am planning to just install a rebuilt head.

Has anyone had a good or bad experience with any of the numerous online sources of rebuilt 4A-FE heads? Is there anything in particular that I should look out for?

I don't need any performance mods, just the plain-jane stock head.

I'm afraid you're not going to find much in terms of freshly rebuilt 4A-FE heads here. They're just not that desirabe. However, try www.corollacustomz.com . A lot of guys there do F head stuff. They might be a better resource.

i have a complete 4afe from a 1990 corolla, about 200k (kilometers) on it, i can take off the head if you wish
