Why would you want to???? Just out of curiosity...

There are better motors to swap into your 94 than a 1zz-fe w/vvti. I'm not saying it's a bad motor it just does not have the potential other motors could.

you can get a 4a-ge 20V blacktop straight from japan... 170hp 1.6L 11.0:1 compression and vvt-i... will bolt up, you'll need a full harness, all sensors, ecu, and it will probably come with the 6 speed tranny

Actually.. for his 94 I would go with a silvertop 20V 4AGE.. they're easier to find parts for and it would be a cheaper swap.

what do u guys think of dropping a 4agze in my 94 rolla, will it mount up? where the f*** would i find it, i guess i couldn't order one like a crate engine huh?

Dood! you live in LA and you don't know where to get an engine?!?!

There should be tons of shops in that area that could get it for you.

no no no no, no L.A. LA <----the state, there's nothing but rednecks with trucks and beat up classics here...like the closest "tuner" shop is in New Orleans, traffic is usually too bad for me to stand, the pot holes are pits not holes, and my car doesn't have an alarm.
I'd have to borrow my mom's avalanche because it handle's the potholes and its got an alarm, but there's no way in hell my mom would let me take her new avie to New Orleans...hey speakin of which toyota nation should meet at New Orleans for mardi gras...talk about a great time....

you're close to florida.... shipping an engine or 1/2 cut would be pretty cheap and florida has several engine importers as well
