9.2g but that's impossible because I filled my tank with 11.3G tonight and I still had SOME amount of fuel left or else i wouldn't have made it to the station ... which was about a mile away and I was driving in high RPM's most of the way to warm up the engine faster...

Dunno man my 2001 is 13 gallons but the gas light comes on at 10.

What's the most gas you have ever squeezed in her? If you have an owners manual it should say the tank capacity there...

EDIT: You are right it is 13.2: http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/sp...IP&tab=2&sub=1

Use that sight in the future for specs

Yea.. I figured 13.2 from my last trips to the pump.. Oh and under 3g the gauge is completely useless and inaccurate.. so that is why the light comes on.. your 3 gallon warning that your low.. My gauge doesn't even work.. The light does but that's it so that's how I tell when I need fuel.. and I've discovered that the light will come on and be annoying and I filled the tank thinking i had fumes left and I still had 2.5g left anyway..

Remember people.. all gas tanks have a "reserve" area.. meaning your light will come on at like 30L on a 35L tank, that way you have enough gas to make it to the gas station.

That's true on my car, but not on my old one.

My '84 Camry had a bunch of weird economy items like ECON mode for the A/C, and the gas gage covered as much space for the last 1/4 tank as it did for the first 3/4, so it became MORE accurate the lower it got. It sure did help squeeze every drop out anyway.

My parents' Volvo gas gage actually has a digital number display that just says how many gallons are left
