update on the smallport - getting ready for the swap

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/219038/8

there are some pictures.... none since i cleaned it up or repounded out the exhaust shield dents.... so far i have also bought:

SARD FPR, and 100psi gauge is on the way
MSD 6AL and blaster 2 coil
MSD tach adapter and coil tower adapter are on the way
flywheel is on the way
new thermal temp sensor (sheared off in shipping)
NGK plugs
oil filter/oil/coolant
new timing belt
new PS belt (no a/c... having problems finding the right one and the way it goes on)
new alternator belt

still have to get:
new spark plug wires (although the ones on the motor are fine... i'm worried about 5mm oem plugs with the 6al and blaster 2 coil)
and a new throttle position sensor... i would have that right now if toyota were open today
new thermostat

i've also spent some time cleaning stuff up.... i'm gonna try to get an engine hoist from a buddy so i can pull the oil pan and clean that out.....

then i gotta find out when the guys who are helping me out are gonna be available

really hard to tell, but the area by the plugs was full of what looked like corrosion... kinda looked like sawdust, and it vacuumed right out
I could be sawdust that was used to 1)either hold the oil and prevent corrosion 2)used for protection during shipping and got somehow lodged there. I doubt that would cause any problems later on.
