That would be a great plan, if you wouldnt mind having something mounted to the roof of your corolla, that was of equal size or greater to the car lol

hey i'm wondering if anybody's had probs w/ their new horn yet. does this corolla need a relay for an aftermarket horn, or a higher amp fuse? i have a feeling the crappy horn setup in there now isn't wired to carry much current. does anyone know if the horn closes the circuit to ground or to the power source? or, do aftermarket horns just plug right in w/ no worries

for most horns out there, probably not.

i made up a wiring harness out of 12 gauge wire to get power directly for my horns. i know its overkill, but the horns are a tad bit louder and I don't have to worry about hacking up my car's electrical system since it takes less power to power the relay than it does to power the factory horn.

the factory horn uses a single positive wire. the horns ground themselves via the mounting bracket. if your aftermarket horn doesn't ground themselves similarly (many don't) then you will just have to add an extra wire to ground the horns.

Hi,

Just read you post and intend to do the same for mine.

Interested in the method you used to put the Hellas between the radiator and the grill. Do you mine explaining what you meant by " just pull the top of the grill back"?

TIA

On the top of the grill there are four bolts, take them off and the grill will pull forward enough for you to get the horns in,
