Hello, I am new to this forum, but that is beside the point. But a question that I do have is where do you find specs on your car from the internet or from the owners manual (the crappy manual doesn't really help much). I am trying to find the horsepower, torque, weight, and etc. for my 1987 toyota corolla. Thanks to all.

Hi,

Perhaps if nobody can help, try looking for the answer at: http://www.club4ag.com/.

To be honest, I have no idea what the specs are for my car either.

Good luck,
Kevin

From what I've heard, these cars only push about 112HP. Not sure torque numbers. But again, I could be wrong too.

This is an old post; however, I felt like a reply should be made so that people that utilizte the search feature can find an answer to this question.

Specifications of the engine can be found in a Chiltons or Haynes manual. Usually this is listing in the first few pages of the books.

This is a terribly imprecise question because the 87 Corolla was offered with multiple body styles and engine options, so it really depends on which specific 87 Corolla you are asking about.

I find this site to be good for specs, but it doesn't have cars prior to 1988:

Edmunds.com used to have specs for older cars but they seem to have discontinued that function...
