82 corolla/tercel fast back

i just bought a 82 corolla/tercel fast back and was wondering if anyone here can point me in the right direction for different mods (i.e. wheels, engine swaps, etc.) i'm currently looking for a wheel/tire package for the little beast.

thanks,
naylor

i've been trying to find pics...the guy i bought it from has pics and he's sending some to me.

basically, the car is a white (new paint) two door fast back with a big rear window that lifts. blue vinyl interior with a back seat that folds down. i've never seen this car before and it gets a ton of looks. the car is tiny! i thought it would be cool to swap a jdm tercel turbo motor or something and put some bronze wheels. the car came with a giant autmeter tach that's bolted to the a pillar and huge TRD racing windshield banner. the springs are cut, as well it's like driving in a go kart.

here's a link the dude in the pic is the previous owner.

That thing looks cool.

Find out what engine it has. Look on the door tag to find your chassis and/or engine code.

With the engine code you can see what motor will swap.

There's a good link in the hardcore sectoin sticky on finding out what motor you have in your toyota...

one more thing....thanks for the engine swap link. am i safe to assume, regardless if the current engine is a 2A or 3A, that i can swap in a 165hp 4A-GE or any engine from the A series? that would be awesome!

If your engine is "a series" than other "a series" engines are the best canidates for swaps. (Yes) That doesn't mean they will be plug-and play, but it's a start.
