Question How much did you pay for your used 4AG?

newbie here..I'm going to swap out my 4ac to 4ag 16 valve. I've gone to a ton of used engine sites and used japanese importer sites..90% say to email or call them. I thought this would be quicker and find out how much everyone has been paying for this engine. For the 4ag 20 valve engines, by all means post info. If anyone know of good quality engine places, please recommend Thanks

Dood.. save yourself the wait and call them up, most of the people in here are in Canada, and its a proven fact that Canadians pay a lot less than americans do for their parts. Some guys in Canada are paying about $400 to $800 CDN for their 4AGE's while guys in the US are paying about $400 to $1200 US. Big difference if you ask me. ( www.xe.com )

Not only that, to swap a 4AGE in place of a 4AC will cost you a lot more than just the engine itself. You're gonna have to replace A LOT of stuff to get that engine working.

i paid $395 for a low mileage JDM redtop (90-91) 4a-ge.... no delivery, it was a local pickup... it has a one year warranty on block and head... it came compression tested and pressure washed....

if you can, find a local shop that will sell them to you.... seeing how i just bought the motor less than a month ago (still isn't in the car ) i know what you're going through..... and i was finding that shipping was what the big charges were....
