Who's Joval?...What kind of car does he drive?

My suggestion is to go to the warehouses that sells them, there's a lot of them btw, and the shipping is free. There's a place just off of dixie and another street ( I forget ). I think it's called Applewood. They did a 4agze swap for Jover who owns the red ae86 coupe on these boards.

I think he meant Jover...

Applewood might do it.

Yeah...I knew that . Just wanted to fuck around a bit.

I heard Luis from Applewood doesn't want to do Toyota's anymore. I heard he wants to only do Nissan's now. He is good though, maybe he will do it.

Oh yeah, back to soulibrium, when you do find the motor, do a compression check on it. I know the motor should be warm but just to see if the numbers are about even on each.

Also check on Big Japanese Used Auto Parts, located on Islington and Finch. I haggled with them (in person) and got a price of $400 on the 4agze motor. I didn't buy it though.

Never did like dealing with lucky star. Had some bad experiences with them a few years ago.

$400 was just for the motor. You could always haggle with them and get a deal for everything or go on Club4AG and get the other items needed.

Good luck in getting what you want!

Oh, will the stock tranny be able to handle the 4agze (i mean in the long run)? You could also go with the supra tranny.

RUMOURS! ALL RUMOURS!

i was just talking to Luis a minute ago, and they'll still DO toyotas. it's just that they were busy with an S15 project for a good while.

soulibrium... if you're still interested, call 'em up and ask for Luis. tell him you're the guy that owns an AE86 that wants a ZE motor in it. tell him you got the number from Mike (starlet). here's the number (905) 275-1919. they do very good work and i know this from experience.

Why don't you just install it yourself? That way you can save a lot of money on labour and learn more about the motor and your car.

lucky star are a bunch of dumbasses, i asked to see an AWD SR20, and what do they show me? an RWD, i tell them this, and they say nonono, this is AWD when it clearly isn't. and when you argue with them, they tell you it doesn't exist.
and they're sooo overpriced for everything.
i wouldn't go to them unless you wanna get robbed by a bunch of dumbasses.

thats not cheaper ! cause now i gotta get all the tools and a bay to use to install. engine housts, mounts small parts here and there..but mainly tools ! i have the bare essentials. but not a bin full of SNAP-ON !! when a torque wrench costs 600$ its not gonna be cheap. TRUST ME ! and im gonna mess up for sure !! learn i will, but money i dont have to burn !

Yeah, I guess you're not really ready to swap engines right now. You don't really need a whole bunch of tools to do the swap. I have never used power tools (guess that's why it takes a bit longer) and my tool set right now cost me only approx. $3-400 (including a torque wrench for $75). Don't consider having tools as burning money, think of them as an investment.

Well if you do get someone to do it, pros are, it will be done faster, cons you could be looking at $1-$2000 in labour.

Good luck in what you decide.
