CV Boots - How to?

Hey now?

I have a 92 Corolla Wagon. While changing my breaks I noticed that one of my outer CV Boots was thorn. Anyway - about one year ago I had them replaced and I watched them replace the boot. After trying to replace them myself - I realized that I could'nt. I enjoy working on cars and I'd like to think that I'm pretty good at it.

Anyway, I was hoping someone could explain how to replace the boots? There're common things to replace and it would be nice to have that information for future reference. Do you need special tools to replace the boots? Do I have to disconnect the Tie Rods...both lower and upper? What about the brakes?

Any suggestions or directions would be appreciated. Thanks!
