Unhappy crashed my 86 (sorry no pics...yet)

yeah, it happened yesterday morning on the way to work on the 403 coming down the hamilton escarpment. I did'nt get charged, I don't think anybody did ( 5 cars were invovled ) it was blamed on icy road conditions. good news is my car still drives like it did before so I just have to fix the body damage. I need a new passanger door and a left headlight assembly. Sad thing is I just went off collision coverage 3 mnths ago b/c it got too expensive, now I'm paying for it. I HATE insurance. any help would be most appreciated
thanx

Before I started driving, my mom had two accidents (her fault) within 4 years, and the Farmers (our old insurance company) started raising her insurance for no reason. She went from full collision coverage to just liability. And when I had my accident in March of 03 we had to pay 1700 out of our own pockets to fix the car.
