Thinking about buying a Corolla

I am thinking about buying an '04 or '03 Corolla. I was wondering if their are any issues with either of these years since they did a total overhaul. Also I have heard the invoice that a dealer tells you isn't actually what they paid for a the car. I want to get a good deal of course so does anybody know where I can find the real invoice?

CONSUMER REPORTS

I just bought a Toyota Corolla S, and to get a good actual pricing try to get the guide from Consumers Reports they give you a complete breakdown on how much it costs for each and every part/package that comes with the Corolla hope that helps!

It depends where you buy the car actually. If you live in a big city, then my suggestion is going out of city or to a smaller town, because the prices will differ. The smaller town (or if you have blocks of car dealerships) then you'll be able to get a good deal on any model.
Personally I got mine in the city for 20grand, but I got it fully loaded. Le edition with wooden trim, rims plus I got a 7 year warranty (1500 more). Personally where I live it was a good deal. And yes, not leasing actually bought the car, all mine.
