hey are there any celica engines that fit the corolla?

hey are there any celica or any other cool car engines that drop in a 94 dx corolla? Or do u know where i can buy a replacement engine, cuz i wanna do a engine swap with a crate engine, but they only offer 80's corolla engines, and they don't have lexus's engines, so i can't drop a vvt-i. So any have any advice for me?

its a mid 90's celica. same 7AFE as the corolla. You can also drop in a 4AFE. if you want more power drop in a 4AGE, 4AGE 20V or 4AGZE

Problem is, engine swaps in Toyotas aren't quite as simple as Hondas. Whereas Hondas can retain most of the existing wiring, Toyota decided to sue different wiring harnesses from engine to engine, so it becomes significantly more difficult. (Or expesnive, depending on how you want to deal with it)

You can also drop a 3SGTE from a Celica Turbo or an MR2 Turbo into your car with a lot of work and money... anything can be done if you got the money.

With enough money, you could put a 1KHP Supercharged Oldsmobile 455 engine in there!

You could get the 20V 4A-GE, but that's expensive, the ECU is fairly expensive, and wiring will be even more expensive.

Physically, it fits pretty well, but the electronics and fuel system will probably be a little more difficult.

Just to add, the 4AFE was in the 90-93 Celica ST and the 7AFE was in the 94-99 ST.

you have a 7AFE which is an A series engine so stick with A series engines I.E. 4AFE, 7AFE, 4AGE (16v or 20v) or 4AGZE
