It seriously sounds like a stud problem.

When in doubt, remember: The problem went away for two weeks when tightened!

well most of the "repairs" on your list are just things you have to do.. nothing major or special.. Maybe your mechanic is just a bumbling moron? I refuse to take my car to any mechanic.. they don't know jack shit and I've learned that the hard way many times.. Just trying to find someone that (back i little while ago) could performance tune my weber carburator and my timing.. and no one could even do it or even knew what the hell to do.. And to top it off I took it to one mechanic and I found that my brake lights weren't working and the dipshit worked for an hour and then the next day I came to pick it up.. I took 5 minutes.. looked at the STOP fuse .. and it was blown.. bam.. brake lights back on.. *sigh*

Luckily over the course of time I never paid any mechanic.. the only thing I ever paid for was exhaust work I got done at a local midas shop.. and my state inspection.. exhaust work is the only thing I trust a garage to do.. and even that I am worried.. i always stand there and watch them.. This moron at a local exhaust specialty shop (it's a chain brand name but I forget now off the top of my head) Anyway.. the moron repaired my exhaust flange leak with Fix a Muffler putty shit.. instead of welding it up and putting a new fuckin gasket in..

Well |PuNiSh3R|

I agree with you completely. All the repairs I have done to the car are minor and are just things that proper maintanace should cover and are things that people should not let accumulate. I like to do most of the stuff by myself but there are things that i rather have "professionals" do since I have never taken an engine apart (I probably could take it apart and put it back together but I dont want to try it on my car.)

About the belt tensioner pulley, I did not agree with him when he said it needed to be replaced. I saw it and it did had some wear on it and was not expensive so I went ahead and changed it anyways.

I do most of the diagnostic by myself or ask people on this forum for their opinions, like in this case. I then take the car to the shop but I am there the whole time and make sure they tight everything. Besides I dont always have the right tools for the job at my house.

One more thing,

It is fixed,

I tried everything but had to replace the two rear hubs.
The wheel bearings on this models are not replaceable. You have to change the whole hub.

No my rear wheels are as solid as they should be!

so if you feel some play on the rear wheels, is the hub!
