What year car did that engine come from? Cuz from what I know red letters don't nessisarily mean red top.

well.. i really dunno... cuz when i went to buy it... it's already out sitting in the shop.... ... but i called itchy and shuan saids that whenever a 4A-GE w/ out the TVIS... it's a red-top..

^that looks like a map redtop to me.
notice the little box on the intake tract? my redtop didnt have that

either that or my monitor is too dark and i cant make out what part that is!

in any case, that's definately a redtop, it's only got 4 intake runners

afm redtops are 130.

uh, wouldn't you guys think that part of that HP base between map and afm has to do with the sensor (and lack of afm) rather than the motor? lol

Its probably better air/fuel maps, keep in mind that Japan has much better gas than us.

And the broken part on your TB looks like a throttle position sensor.

yes, i already have the new TPS...... i'll be running the smallport off a tuned 4a-fe ecu (map sensored) with the 4a-fe intake, kbd header, MSD 6al/blaster 2/8910 eis...... along with a c52 tranny...
