intake

i just put k and n intake in my car and my engine light is on....it giving a lot of resistance in first gear however my other gears are doing just fine....ive already reset my computer by disconnecting the battery for over an hour...my friend read my computer with one of his things and it said it was a airflow manlfunction...any thoughts??

maybe the seal isnt tight enough
i put an injen intake in my 2001 rolla and its working fine

hmmm, i donno what car you running, check you if you didn't hit any sensor' plugs or the sensor's themselves, and check that the filter is tights (though i think it should work even without a filter).
Yeah try that too, see if it lights without the filter.

reset your ECU. it needs a soft reset to get used to the intake.

erm...i can ask the man when he gets back into the office...he'd had that problem once he installed an intake on his new manifold...he said he also had the issue with his CAI when he had that.
