Time for a swap oil light on

My 90 Corolla 4afe must be getting tired. I may be jumping to conclusions but the oil light is flickering at idle. I think that the car needs an oil pump or oil pickup. does anyone know how I could figure this out. I work in a shop so I can ask my boss tomorrow but I want to here what the "Toyota Guys" think first. Could be the bottom end is starved for oil. The car was fine until I changed the oil. Still runs well. I've only had the car for 2 months.

someone might have gotten you. thick oil is the temp solution for low oil pressure. once you change that thick oil out, you find all the really bad problems that come along with it

The 4AGE in my 89 GTS has almost 300,000 KM no low oil light yet... must be a 4AFE thing.
