Did some modifications to my corolla

Some of my recent mods on my '04 corolla (sorry no pics yet)
Shaved my trunk (used dental floss, paper towels and rubbing alcohol)
Got SylvaniaSilverstar bulbs (low beam)
And removed the orange marker (turn signal marker) from my headlights.

If the rain stops, I'll probebly be able to take some pics and show share them with you.

I thought having your locks and handles shaved off makes your car even easier to steal?

i could be wron but don't they have some type of selonoid or locking system with those kits?

in my opinion, they'd be harder to steal because they can't stick a screwdriver in your keyhole anymore.

I started from the one side and worked my way to the other. Then when I took of the lettering, the tape was still there, so I took that off with my hands, and then used rubbing alcohol to wipe off the rest.
Since using flossing tape hurt my hands, I wrapped the ends of it in paper towels and applied pressure as I went on the center of the tape.

I agree, gives the car a clean look.
Actually, I think that's why most people do it.
Plus I am gonna use the corolla sign on the front grill (when I get my Altis grill; which is soon)

Most common shaving is taking off the letters from your trunk or back of the car (most lettering is on the trunk).
Shaving door handles means taking off your door handles and installing a different mechanism to open your doors.

EMEX... that's a good job with just dental floss and rubbing alcohol. but for future reference try using a 3M adhesive remover (for automotive use). the rubbing alcohol if you have a little bit older car would damage the paint. how long did it took you to do the whole trunk part? just curious!
