Japanese Import

I know that Toyota is a Japanese car. But my Corolla is a car that was build and sold in Japan and then imported to Ireland and sold as a use vehicle (The only annoyance is that all the stickers and lables about the car are in Japanese). But I have a question about chassis'. Mine is a '91 Corolla Deisel Sedan(Saloon). But from the photos I've seen of other '91's, I have a different body style - more like the '93's. Is it the case that Toyota release new chassis in Japan before everywhere else? Could it be that I've an ae102 rather than an ae92 even though it's a '91? Am I likely to get wrong parts if I quote the year as '91?
Paul.

From the rather poorly done English version, I think that I have a 7th generation Corolla. ae92 or ae102, I dunno. Would it be stamped on the car somewhere?
Paul.

Did you check with a cetified Toyota dealer? Because they might know, or refer you to someone who knows about this.

The chassis code is normally stamped on the firewall, on the passenger side. Have a look.
