Unhappy 94 corolla rattle idle problem

My 94 corolla shakes and rattles at idle even when it is warm. Any ideas of adjustments to fix this problem. It seems to run fine at higher speeds.

My old '94 started doing that right around 60,000 miles... I threw in a new set of plugs and wires, tossed on a new accesory and timing belt and had the tranny fluid swapped...This seems to have helped a bit...You may also want to have the injectors cleaned at a dealer, because those bottles of FI cleaner only do just so good.....

my '99 will be getting the same treatment here shortly....that is except for this one has a timing chain, so I don't need to swap it out yet...

The best way to get rid of it is to do a full tune up and check all the engine mounts to see if any are worn out.

i had this problem on my 4a-fe.... i started to fix it by tightening the throttle cable... it helped... would have helped even more if i had known there was an actual throttle body adjustment screw... there's a plastic cap on it.. pull the cap off (dime sized) and adjust it until the motor stops surging....
