Question Red wing mirrors for a new member!

Hi all!

Just found your site and you all seem like nice enough people! ;-)

Wonder if anybody can help...

I have a 1993 corolla EFI (hence my username!) Its all red and shining except the horrible black wing mirrors! I have been looking for some body coloured mirrors for ages but don't really know where to look.

I have seen some 1989 GTI older shape mirrors advertised but I dont know if they will fit, can anyone help?

If they don't fit can anyone offer any advice on where to get some in the UK?

Thanks

Stuart.

ok, not sure if your guys' trim models are the same,

BUT.....for us, the base corolla, and the DX corolla had the black mirrors while the LE had body-colored i think. So try looking around in a junk-yard for them.

if not, u could always take yours off, and paint it with touch-up paint

Personally, I'd just get a set of mirrors from the wrecking yards and have them sent off to be painted at a bodyshop. Or just send yours off to be painted., if you feel safe driving without mirrors.

I'm thinking of getting some from second hand and getting them done, cause i aint having any luck any other way!

I can't believe it's such a task to try and find any red ones, but there you go!

I also cant believe i've used the wrong user name aswell, it should be GLi!

Thats what happens when you try doing something at "stupid o'clock" in the morning!!! Can it be changed??
