Question a hint on suspension???

i own a COROLA G6 1600cc VVT-i of 2001.
after 80000km of use i need to change suspension.
i was proposed a BILSTEIN-EIBACH co-operation,
improved driving result.
however, since the roads of Athens-Hellas are not the best you can get, i don't want a very hard suspension.
what do you reccomend????
thanks in advance

either you match em with 15" with higher aspect ratios or
get KYBs rather than bilstein which is known for Hard performance driving rather than street use.

btw, what size of rims are you using?

and whats the drop on those eibachs?

the higher aspect ratios is sth i'm gonna do somewhere on the future.i'm not thinking about it right now.that choise would be the 15''GT2 of MOMO in gray probably, when i decided.

the drop of the EIBACHS will be 3cm. and alternate solution, proposed by the same person, was APEX, that are far harder than the EIBACHS. so F!!!
also instead of BILSTEIN what if i place KONI or KAYABA??
any opinion on that??
i'm reminding you that i need a not so hard suspension.
what's the best combination??

what are exactly the "rims"?
(sorry,my vocabulary is a little poor!!)

Tokico HP, also known as Tokico blues is a good improvement from your stock. I have an Eibach and Tokico Blue set up and ride really smooth. Mind you, I have my little 3 years old girl in the back sit most of the time, and it seems fine.

Hope that helps.

The Eibach springs should be good for you.

As was mentioned the Tociko and KYB will be softer shocks than the Bilstein, but if those are not available, get some adjustable Konis, then you can dial in the hardness.

why not keep your stock one. Or if it leaks or some shit like that, go to a toyota dealer and ask them to replace it for the same one.
But I think bilstien and eibach have their soft springs too, don't they?

i could use an advice of someone already having the
EIBACH-BILSTEIN junction on his auto.
however i didn't minded so much about the BILSTEIN.
i was mostly worried on the springs.
thank you all
i'll inform you in the future on the result!!!!!!!!!

The Eibach "Pro-Kit" has a pretty soft ride, but the "Sportline" are stiffer.

by "rims" he means wheels.

KYB are harsher than original equipment struts, but probably softer than Bilstein or Koni's.

Hello from Greece!
I am a happy owner of a 2001 Toyota Corolla 1.4 G6. I want to improve my car's suspension. I am thinking of placing the KYB AGX shock absorbers, which are adjustable. Should I also change the springs with harder and/or lowering ones or can I keep the original ones?
By the way, are G6's springs lower and/or harder than regular Corolla's ones?

Thank you,
George.

I know Bilstein are the best. However, the quality/price relation for Kayaba is better (as far as I know). I am interested in buying adjustable shock absorbers and the cost for Bilstein ones increases dramatically. However, my main concern is what to do with the springs.
Any suggestions? Should I keep the original (manufacturer's) ones?

Well you get what you pay for, however non adjustable bilsteins can be converted to be adjustable... not gonna tell you how, its a trade secret.
