AE92 noob question

well.. when i put my car in reverse.. i notice the reverse light ain't lighting up... .. i suspect it's the fuse... but... where's the fuse box? i already checked the bulb.. it ain't broken... it lights up when i put the bulb in the blinkers... any idea?

thx

also.. my oil gauge ain't working either.. it stays on LOW! but when i check the engine oil... it's there w/ full and clean oil... any idea on this too? thx...

There's one under the hood, and one under the dash. Might be another box somewhere that I have yet to discover.

There are only two fuse boxes in the AE92, under the hood and under the driver dashboard.

Your reverse light could be a corrosion problem, AE92 are notorious for haveing shortage in the taillight sockets. Take a close look at your taillight sockets and see if they have any corrosion. If they do, brush them with a wire brush and spray them with WD40

if you have a manual transmission there is a plug there (i believe it is white) it has two wires.. use a wire to short them to each other. then your reverse lights should light up if they are working

you can't miss the plug.. if you look down at your transmission it should be right there underneath your air box

if it's in the states.. some states require inspections, etc.. so I think he would care.

I know that.. but still the reverse lights are something worth having.. Infact, the guy that was in front of me in his F-150 had his working.. Because right before he backed up onto my hood last summer I saw them come on..
