Hi

My 1999 corolla is nearing the 95k miles. I bought this car with 93K miles on it and have not changed the transmission oil yet. I dont have the user manual and I dont know what oil to use.

Any recomendations?

You could just call a local toyota dealership and ask the mechanics or parts people.. I believe you would use Dexron II though?

Well, see the problem is that this is an American Corolla and it is very different from the corollas sold here in Honduras.

I doubt that the local dealer sold any 99 corollas with auto transmissions. All "Honduran Corollas" had a 5 speed manual and the engine was different too. (actually all the car was different, body and interior).

What i need is the recomended oil for this car in the US so I can look for it in here.

Ok, I will look for it. I just did not know if there was a viscocity rating that I should stick with.
