my new 1995 corolla

Hiya guys, a buddy of mine and I have gotten our hands on a 95 corolla, and we're looking to mod it a bit so he can chase me around. I'm a Nissan Guru, but I have NO IDEA where to start with toyota knowledge, with the exceptions of a 4A-GZE or something of that nature. Searching has been tedious, so i was wondering if any of you guys could give me some quick knowledge:

Chassis Code, Engine Code, where to buy parts (if there are any to buy) and what you would suggest to do with a 200,000 mile automatic. (besides junk it )

Also, where can i find specs like wheel bolt pattern and stock sizes and all that jazz.

Check out the Corolla Forum Sticky for info.

But I'll help yah out...

Chassis code is AE102, the engine is a 7A-FE (1.8 litre about 105HP) I believe the AE102 has 14inch wheels and a 4X100 bolt pattern...

With a crappy auto trans an engine swap or a Turbo is the only way to make real power. A 4a-gze as you mentioned is a good swap, a guy on this board has that done to his brothers AE102.
Also check out the Turbo 7a-fe thread and see a 367HP 1994 Corolla that would destroy your Spec V! (cool car by the way )

Check out www.vpower.net to purchase Corolla bolt-ons, they are adding new stuff all the time...
