89 Corolla Project

Ok To get the story started, I just purchased a 89 Corolla for 100$CDN it has 300K on the motor and it's auto. So i wanna drop a new/used motor in and convert it to standard to start. But it's already licensed on the road has no exhaust. I don't feel like putting a stock exhaust on it really, Was wondering if anyone here knew any good sites for buying parts for a 89 Corolla. I wanna make this baby nice. I gotta do a little bit of body work, I might just buy replacement panels from the scrap yard sand everything repaint it then rust proof it.

well not very much aftermarket support for the ae92's as of yet.. So expect to do a lot of fabrication for custom things. Not to worry though.. you get better at it over time .

Um.. some stuff from the 4AGE though you can use.. And what type of things are looking to buy online.. just body and looks type of stuff or engine goods?

Congrats on starting your project!!!! My project is an 89 Wagon with a matic tranny and the 4af engine. The first thing I did with mine was I changed as many seals as I could find and got the radiator rodded out and changed oil and all other vital fluids. Id suggest you do the same. Drive the car stock for a bit to see if there are any major gremlins lurking around . Looks like a sturdy enough vehicle tho....
