hello everyone, i'm new and i just wanted to say hey to everyone. i live in toronto, canada, and i see alotta other people are from here. But i dun see many 86s around here for some reason (scarborough)anyway i'm really into the ae86 every since i've seen it drift, i'm also a hardcore fan of initial D. anyway, good to see that alotta other people like 86s around here, it's hard to find people that like oldschool cars that are my age.
They are not that hard to find depending on your definition of AE86. If you think that only Corolla GT-S's are AE86's you are wrong. This also includes SR5's as well. I have seen around 5 (6 if you want to include mine) AE86 GT-S in my town but I've also seen about 15 SR5's around too.
They are there but you have to look for them.
i'm not sure, but all i see in my area are civics and acuras, they're so played off, everyone has them. it's not that i hate them or anything, just that they are TOO popular.
16, and dun think i like the Corolla GT-S just because of initial d (even though i like the series), it's just that you can do allota stuff with it, all you have to do is invest money into it (which i know isn't easy) and i like the cars look. so i'm really interessted in it, and was hoping i could find one (in the summer). Oh yea, i also want to be unique
I was just thinking to myself. But I think you should join Club 4AG. Most of the members are AE86 or AW11 (I hope this was the right code for MR2) drivers. http://www.club4ag.com/frame.htm
that page doesn;t really have alot going for it in terms of pics and stuff, but it is a technical bible for anything 4age related. the people on that board have helped me numerous times and i have made alot of friends there.
i suggest reading up all you can that legendary moto-p has to say.
yeah, they are around, you just have to keep your eye open.. i always see ae86's in the midland and finch area for some reason.. I just saw a clean silver/black coupe drive through that intersection today, it was owned by an enthusiast i think..
my two-tone blue hatch is also parked in a garage a matter of minutes from that intetsection as well (that car will probably be for sale late may/early june)
also there is a car shop 1 light north of midland and finch called N1 auto that is run by a guy who's into ae86's as well.. he has a black coupe, but its not that rust-free

i dun really go there alot, there is this rust free red ae86 hatchback in the sheppard and markham area (malvern). it looks really nice all the time, it's always shiny for some reason, the only time the guy takes it out for a drive is at night, a really sweet ride.
