u know what i'll say, AE9222222222!! GT-S that is, not SR5 right?

AE92 GT-S: 1988-1989 115hp@6300 rpm, 110 lb-ft of torque, weights around 2372 lbs

1990-1991 130hp, same thing above, think 105 lb-ft of torque...

anyway hope this helps altho i doubt it

Well he did had an AE86 before man...

I'll definitely get a 4AG/3SG if I want a 4-cyl...GZE/GTE or 20v even better!!!

realise i did say production NA 4 banger.

GZE and 3SGTE need not apply

i'd go for a 3SGE too...if they had the 5th gen one over here.

Actually 4A-GZE and 3S-GTE are production engines, they just dont appear in corollas, but MR2 and MR2 ;P..
I'd get a ae92 over a Civic every day and twice on sunday, heck civics dont have a soul. I'd even want the AE92 to be with carbs, screw injection, makes a car "heartless".

it think what lafora meant, was that they are not NA.

never take a civic engine???? if i could have an 4age highcomp and a b18c1 or even b16a2 for the same price...i would take the b block!!! As for teh 20v, wouldn't even consider it...IMO, its a waste of time.

I'm getting quite annoyed at ppl who continue to ignore the fact that all of Hondas b series engines are absolutely dominant. Yes we all love toyotas and we all hate those ricers, but like i've said in the past, find one STOCK comparable engine that toyota has that could rival any of the b series, vtec motors....ummmm...i thought not.

The B-series motors strongest point is the head, awesome. The blocks need alot of work to be strong. The crank is awesome. The rods are a tad on the weak side. Architecturally it's an awesome design for VE.

Now if only we could get a head comparable to the honduh to go with our GZE/hi-comp 4age short blocks.

I still think my 4age is a great engine and it immediately followed a B18C as my main ride.

AE92 all the way!

Either that, or look for something interesting like an old 240SX... that would be a fun yet inexpensive car.

what nick said.

i suppose if you are on a budget, you can just get a EF or an early EG and plop the B series in.

should be hella fast, and there are lots more ppl doing honda swaps then there are toyota swaps  for you, for me
