Brakes cause dash & parking lights to come on!

I've got a '97 Corolla and the dash lights went out, but they come on, along with the parking lights, whenever the brakes are pushed. The lights do not have to be turned on, as soon as the brakes are touched, parking lights and dashlights. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Pull the tail lights off and inspect the grounds at the light sockets. This is a common problem with the use of plastic and higher output lights that the factories are using now.

Thanks for the help. I pulled the brake/taillight bulbs and found that the 2 post on the bottom of the bulb had melted together. Changed the bulb and everything works fine.
